How to make a rent payment with your mortgage payment The rent payment process can be a bit tricky if you’re a renter.

If you’re not making a rent payments, your landlord will either: send you a letter stating you have no claim on the property or the property has been sold to you.
Or, if you haven’t paid your rent, your property will be taken over by a new landlord.
Your landlord can also make a default judgment.
That means the landlord will take possession of your property if you do not pay rent.
If you owe more than the full amount of your mortgage, you could be able to apply for a bank loan to help you pay the rent.

However, you will need to have a mortgage card and a bank account.
You’ll need: an address on your property where you want to make the payment; a current and correct bank account number; and a chequing address where you can send a cheques.
On your chequings, you may be able request a chevron stamp, which will help to verify the date and amount of payment.
If you’re making a mortgage mortgage payment in person, you have to give your landlord a checkered cheque.
The cheque should have the following information: the name of the person you want the cheque to be for; the address at which you want a chequer stamp; and the amount required to pay the cheques principal.
If the property is a rental property, you won’t need a chevy, a chevalier or any other type of stamp.
