Rent house toKYO to be built in Nagoya in time for the New Year

The Nagoya Prefecture is planning to build a new residential tower to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Nagoya Earthquake on March 11, the Nagawa Electric Power Company said on Monday.

The power company said the tower, called the “Kokoro Tower” and to be named “Nagoya Tower,” will be built on land that was originally purchased by the prefecture.

It will be designed by the architectural firm of Nagoya Architects.

The tower is expected to be the biggest building in the prefectural capital of Nagahiro-ku, the capital of Chiba Prefecture, which has about 3.3 million people.

The prefecture will host the opening ceremony of the tower in January.
